To tie-in with an exhibition running at
London's Barbican a sensational book charting the past thirty years of Japanese fashion has launched.
It champions the mind bending genius of Comme de Garcons founder Rei Kawakubo, and designer Junya Watanabe. Kosuke Tsumura's work with Final Home in the mid '90s is celebrated, as is the career of Hiroshima born Issey Miyake.
The book also highlights Japan's future fashion stars and explores the Japanese design aesthetic and the nation's unique street style.
