A few product highlights from the tenth anniversary
Bread & Butter show in Berlin. Big spring 12 trends include bright bold colours, particularly on outerwear and chinos, distorted, hombre and vintaged washes on jersey and tees, functional design details such as rope trims and ties and an update on nautical dressing for the more sophisticated man. Denims take a back seat for spring 12 as chinos (and tailored shorts) come to the fore, but when jeans were seen at the show, washes were light blue, in soft and chirpy cottons.

The hardwalking feet of Diffusion's Carl Peddie. Love these two-tone canvus penny loafers |
Farah Vintage actually had one of the nicer stands at the show the brick effect was cool and accessories looked strong |
Jolly old Trickers and a sunny sunflower |
Nice scatering of trendy bits on the Lee stand |

Fisherman smocks by Armour Lux, hope these catch on |
Lavenham has utilised its quilting techniques on ties, shoes and hats this season to a mixed reaction. I love these ties, would you wear them? |
Lavenham has also extended into windsheeters in jaunty colourways |
Lavenham quilted flat caps and hybrids |
Barbour had a lovely two tone jacket on it's stand but this duck emblazoned polo shirt is a winner |

Not sure what this gangland Crip warrior was doing wandering around Berlin but I style papped him anyway.
Check out pap pics of the beautiful people at Bread and Butter here. |
