Draw in Light is a new label discovered by
Liberty last year and being sold in the UK market by agency
Robinson Pfeffer. The product is lovely; raw printed silks and elegant silhouettes in rich autumnal tones - but it's the branding and press material that helped get this label noticed among the reems of crap that landed on my desk yesterday. Mainly because red paint had been blown onto the envelope so it looked like there had been a horrific accident at the post office.
It's fundemental that a holistic perspective is taken when launching a brand and that the message is seamless - from hem line to look book, press release and beyond - and the little, free crystal prism, with a note from founders Harry and Polly encouraging the recipient to 'Draw In Light', was a sweet touch.
